Lake of the Ozarks is a bustling summer destination. It’s perfect for a day trip, girlfriend getaway, romantic weekend or weeklong stay. With more than 1,700 camping and RV facilities, it’s great for a budget traveler, too.The water is busier than Table Rock Lake and that turns some people off, but if you stay away from the main channel, there are lots of secluded coves. I love the vibe of this lake. I’ve been there every summer for most of my life, and I have a ton of suggestions.
